Glyfada Building

In the Terpsithea location of the Municipality of Glyfada, the construction of a new residential building with a total area of closed spaces of approximately 865.00m² is planned. On a strongly elongated plot, the building was designed with the least possible coverage to ensure a significant area of uncovered planted areas. The apartments – one, two, or three bedrooms – were designed in such a way as to make the most of bioclimatic parameters and visual escapes provided by the open spaces of the plot and neighboring buildings.

With the aim of building an A+ energy rating building, modern technologies and construction logic have been incorporated into the design that ensures comfort conditions while reducing operating costs. Promoting an alternative concept of co-housing, the complete functional autonomy of each apartment is complemented by communal uses such as a gym, sauna, BBQ and gathering space. In terms of form, both the interior spaces and the building shell seek to highlight the high quality materials, the manufacturing excellence at the level of detail and the frugal use of a modern architectural vocabulary, consistent with the function. The building is located at a walking distance of sixteen minutes from the metro station of Elliniko.
